Known for her budget-friendly, glamorous renovations with a side of fashion, humour, and genuine laughs, Kristen Coutts is a self-taught home improvement genius! From designing to painting, there isn’t a project Kristen hasn’t tackled. She began sharing her DIY projects on social media, quickly becoming a go-to resource for fans. With her background in social media marketing and warm personality, Kristen is perfect for any project.
Kristen’s television career has been a significant highlight. She has been featured as a guest expert on Cityline and will be hosting Beer Budget Reno on the Home Network in 2025. Her impressive transformations and budget-friendly renovations have garnered a large following, leading to her renovation company, Maisoncoutts, having a years-long waiting list.
Kristen picked up her first power tool on maternity leave after moving to a “fixer upper” in Toronto. Faced with high contractor quotes, she took on the renovations herself and documented the journey on social media. This gained her traction and opened doors to client projects.
Kristen aims to combat sexism in the home improvement industry and inspire more women to pick up power tools.
