Keeping Critters Like Mice Out
Have you heard the pitter-patter of tiny feet scurrying across your kitchen floor late at night? What about finding droppings throughout your basement? These are all signs mice or rats have taken up residence in your home.
According to Danforth Pape Home Hardware Dealer Owner Malcolm Firkser, the little critters are attracted to three things:
1) A dark place – such as the basement
2) A warm place – near the water heater
3) A damp place – like the laundry room
How do you prevent these pesky rodents from entering you home in the first place? We asked Malcolm for some tips to help us out.
