Home Show, Smarter Living Edition Cancellation

The Home Show Smarter Living Edition Announces Cancellation of Fall Show

TORONTO – June 16, 2020 – The Home Show team has made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming Home Show: Smarter Living edition, owned and operated by BILD and formerly known as the Fall Home Show. Scheduled to take place October 2-4, 2020 at the Enercare Centre, the decision to cancel the show reflects the ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19 and current recommendations from healthcare and government officials.

“This year has been a challenging year for all businesses and our home shows have been no exception,” says Duncan Payne, Managing Director, Home Shows. “We feel it is in the best interest of our guests, exhibitors and staff to cancel at this time. We have already begun planning our 2021 shows and look forward to providing an exciting lineup and interactive experiences for our guests soon.”

While physically the show might be cancelled, home show attendees shouldn’t derail their upcoming renovation, organization and home refresh plans. Exploring virtual options for the show, guests will be able to be inspired from the comfort of their own homes soon enough.

“Your home is a place that is inspired by you and inspires you. We stand by that and will continue to innovate, educate and create memorable experiences that spark excitement and motivate you to make your space your own,” adds Payne.

Stay tuned, stay safe and see you “in person” soon!
