Step into the Skills Ontario training truck and get hands-on with wiring an electrical circuit, welding, or even bricklaying. Get inside the heavy machinery simulator – it’s VR experience you’ll never forget! This is an amazing interactive exhibit where you can see if skilled trades are a good fit for you! The National Home Show is proud to partner with Skills Ontario to address the shortage of skilled workers in the industry, by encouraging attendees (youth and adults alike!) to consider the trades as a career path. Skills Ontario representatives will be onsite to talk about job pathways, training schools, financial aid and how to build an amazing future as we build Ontario.
