Master Gardeners of Ontario is a service organization of volunteers who are trained horticultural experts. Their mission is to provide expert gardening advice that is sustainable and rooted in science. Established in 1985, Master Gardeners of Ontario Inc. (MGOI) is an independent not-for-profit organization, run by volunteers, dedicated to providing accurate and relevant horticultural information to the public. There are Master Gardener groups located throughout Ontario.
