We count on our friends at Drink Inc. whenever we need a drink recipe – no matter what the occasion! And the Holidays are even more special! Christine at Drink Inc. provided us with her husband’s “famous” and amazing recipe for what’s called a “Fog Lifter” and it is deeeelicious! Drink Inc. likes to support their local partners, so they recommend Georgian Bay Spirits’ Gin and Chantilly French Cream from Maverick Distillery (the makers of Tag Vodka) but you can insert your favourites where you like.
- 1 cup Gin
- 1 cup Chantilly Cream or Bailey’s Irish Cream
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- 4 cups strong brewed coffee
- Pour gin and Bailey’s into a blender, add a 500ml container of ice cream (more if you want a thicker consistency), top with coffee. Pulse until the ice cream is melted and everything is blended.
- Makes 4 mug-sized servings. Do not operate heavy machinery while or after consuming. :)
